The short version
- Delete it in the app or its web version: Account in CLIMB, Settings in CLIMB Coach. Or email help@begood.solutions from the address you sign in with. We reply within one month.
- Your account details are deleted within 90 days. Security records are kept 90 days, usage and crash data up to a year.
- Workplace records (attendance, hours) are your employer’s: ask them to delete those.
1. Which apps this covers#
This page covers the CLIMB app for employees and the CLIMB Coach app for owners and managers, including their web versions. Both are made by BeGOOD Solutions Ltd, and one account signs in to both.
2. Delete it in the app#
- On your phone, open Account in the CLIMB app, or Settings in the CLIMB Coach app. In a web browser, sign in at app.climb.begood.solutions (CLIMB) or coach.climb.begood.solutions (CLIMB Coach) and open the same screen.
- Tap Delete account, enter your password and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. If you use two-factor authentication, you’ll also be asked for a code or your passkey.
Your account is deleted straight away and you’re signed out on every device. If you’re clocked in, you’re clocked out first.
3. Or ask us by email#
If you can’t sign in to the app or the website any more:
- Email help@begood.solutions from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my CLIMB account”.
- If you own a company in CLIMB, say whether you want the company closed too (see owners below).
- We may reply to confirm it’s you before deleting anything. We reply within one month.
You can also ask us to delete some of your data without closing your account: email help@begood.solutions and tell us what you’d like removed.
4. What is deleted#
Your account details (name, email address, password, passkeys, two-factor settings and push notification registration) are deleted or anonymised within 90 days of your account closing. Your sessions end straight away, so every device you’re signed in on is signed out.
The following are kept for a limited time, then deleted:
- records of security events, such as sign-ins: 90 days;
- app usage data and crash reports: up to a year.
5. Your workplace records#
Your employee record, attendance and hours belong to your employer: they control that data, and the law may require them to keep some of it, such as working-time and payroll records. Closing your account unlinks you from those records but doesn’t delete them.
To have your workplace records deleted, ask your employer: in CLIMB Coach they can erase an employee’s personal details. We will help them respond. See our role in the privacy policy.
6. If you own a company#
A company can’t be left without an owner, so the app won’t delete the account of a company’s only owner. Email us instead: tell us who should own the company, or ask us to close it too. When a company closes, it can export its data for 30 days, and we delete it within 90 days of the account closing.
